All you need to do is choose the days you would like to come out with us and book yourself on to 2 separate day trips or a Liveaboard trip. You can pick up your student manual in store prior to the first trip so you can complete the knowledge reviews before diving, or we can mail it to you at with a small freight charge.

The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 2,600 kilometres. Located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland in north-east Australia, the central portion of the reef offshore from Townsville is one of the most spectacular parts. The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from outer space and is the world's biggest single structure made by living organisms. The reef supports a wide diversity of life and was selected as a World Heritage Site in 1981.

The Yongala is most famous for the abundant marine life. It is often said that you will see more marine life on one dive on the Yongala Wreck than you will on half a dozen dives on the reef. Big schools of giant Trevally and barracuda cruise the wreck. Giant grouper, bull rays, schools of eagle rays, sea snakes, turtles, large coral trout, sharks and schools of colourful tropical fish patrol the length of the wreck. The Yongala Wreck is a ‘must do’ on your list of dive sites in Australia. Very few dive sites in the world have as much to offer as the Yongala and all who experience this incredible dive comment that it is one dive that will remain in their memories forever.
